The CHC5 is an open, modular machine-vision camera: a Zynq-7020 FPGA core with a full ISP on the FPGA fabric, interchangeable sensor boards and lens mounts, and open-source software. This version comes with the Sony IMX678 (8.3 MP, 1/1.8″, rolling shutter) – low light, very high sensitivity.
Key features
- Streams over USB 3.0 (UVC webcam + USB3 Vision), GigE Vision and HDMI 1080p – all three simultaneously
- Full camera ISP on the FPGA: black level, demosaicing, auto exposure / white balance / gain, color conversion, gamma
- Interchangeable lens mounts (C, CS, S, M42, Canon RF, Sony E, MFT) – choose yours at no extra cost
- Isolated aux I/O for multi-camera sync, strobe/flash control and exposure monitoring
- Internal IR-cut filter and external 43 mm filter thread
- Open-source hardware files, FPGA project and Linux software on GitHub
